Reporter Aviel Kanter recently did a feature on our restaurant for the September Issue of SRQ Magazine. Kanter asked owner, George Armstrong, about his diverse menu to which George replied, “It’s a really diverse menu without doing it on purpose. We don’t try to cover A to Z—it just kind of fell into place.” This diversity comes from George’s military upbringing that had his family moving every few years to places like Hawaii, Philadelphia, Charleston, Virginia, and more; but George calls Bermuda (where he was born); Austin, Texas; and North Carolina his biggest inspirations. One of most popular menu items, the Bermuda Fish Cake Benedict, is inspired by his Bermuda where Breakfast is “a very big thing”.

George then opened up about what makes George’s Interesting Sauce so interesting, “We de-seed and roast poblano and jalapeno peppers. There’s a little bit of heat but it finishes fast.”
